Fees

We know that the need to pay for legal fees can arise unexpectedly when there are already enough decisions to make. We believe that clear knowledge of the fees and not being confused about them is the basic step towards reducing stress and having good communication between us.

We charge in the following way:

Your first meeting has a fixed price. We believe that this meeting is integral to understanding your situation and will make sure that you leave fully informed. We will give you an estimate of how much your case might cost once we have heard the full details.

After the first meeting:

If more work is needed clients purchase hours of work in advance. The amount required will be discussed with you once we have familiarised ourselves with your case in the first meeting and can assess the amount of work needed.

Once those hours have been used you will be told what still needs to be done with an estimate of the future cost. You will receive a detailed account of all the work done on your behalf. If your matter is finalised and no more work is needed but money is still held on account, then you will receive a full refund of what remains.

We always try to finalise your case in the quickest way so many times clients receive a refund.
